| Man did 2004 go by so fast! My family was busy all year long........ In February Patrick had his first Cub Scout Pinewood Derby car race! Boy was he excited! Spending weeks designing his car, cutting out his rough design, sanding it down to perfection, and getting his car just the way he wanted before it went under the paint can. After painting the car his favorite color blue, and installing his favorite cartoon character, Jimmy Neutron, as the driver, now was the time to see how it all paid off! Second Place....only by a nose! He was pretty excited, and so was Dad! We both can't wait till next year! |

Off for another family vacation on Chincoteague Island, Virginia. Spent the week there in August and had a really great time. We spent the days at the beach and the evenings shopping with the family. Pete and I went beach combing for seashells a few mornings and found some really nice shells. We also watched the dolphins swimming along the shoreline. |

September we put a new roof on the shed. A long time coming! It took us all day but it was worth it. The roof turned out real nice! Just when I thought that I could set down and rest, the wife hands me another Honey-Do List! Well, not actually, she has been after me for the past two years to build her an ornamental shed. A nice word for an outhouse! Yes your heard me right! An outhouse to use for a utility shed so the wife can have a place to store her outside work tools and flower pots. I have to admit it, but it turned out real nice! It took wife and I fourteen hours to complete but I think it was worth it. Why? It gives me another place to hide. I only have to remember to keep the lock with me when I close the door! |
