Clark Weber

Clark Weber's Book, "Rock and Roll Radio: The Fun Years 1955-1975" was published July 21, 2008.

Clark Weber got his start in radio as a ham radio operator in high school in 1950. His radio job came after he got out of the Navy in 1954 at WAUX in Waukesha, Wisconsin. After stops at WBKV in West Bend, Wisconsin and WRIT in Milwaukee, Clark came to WLS in September 1961. Clark did over nights on WLS when he first arrived. Clark was hired by pd Sam Holman. In early 1963, Clark moved to afternoons. When Gene Taylor moved to midday, Emperor Clark Weber ascended the trhone and moved in to the 6 - 9 am morning slot on WLS. In 1969, Clark left WLS for WCFL. Clark spent many years at WIND as well as WJJD. Born Novermber 24, 1930, Clark Weber passed away form cancer on March 7, 2020.
