Gerry Spinn came to KQV in July
1962 as operations manager. He was formerly program director at WHK in
Cleveland. He replaced Mel Hall as KQV operations manager. He had a long
career that included stops at WTBO Cumberland, WTMA Chatanooga, WBZ in
Boston, WQAM Miami and WHK Cleveland. After KQV, Gerry Spinn was the first
program director at WIXY Cleveland.
Neil McIntyre was music director
for Gerry Spinn.
During this period Chuck
Brinkman returened to KQV from the Army replacing Larry Aiken.
He was replaced by John
Rook in January 1964.
