Timothy G. Adams came to
KQV from Pensacola, Florida. He was hired by KQV Program Director Bob Harper
for 10 pm - 2 am on January 22, 1973 replacing Larry Clark in KQV's nighttime
line-up. Tim remained at KQV for just over a year leaving KQV on March
4, 1974. Timothy moved across town to take over middays at WEEP during
their country hey-day. After WEEP, Timothy G Adams went to Chicago's WJJD,
and then spent some time in Pensacola, before returning to his home town
of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He worked for (W)KLQ, EZ 105.7, and WMUS
on the lakeshore. He has been out of the business altogether since
the early 2000's. Timothy now owns assisted living and adult foster
care homes. |
