Marlyn Marusko passed away on February 1, 2012.


Marlyn was the manager at the Monroe Bowl Roller Rink. Marlyn loved the kids and was in touch with their needs. I am proud to have known her and that she was a friend of mine.  Jeff

Marlyn A. (Merlin) Marusko, 78, of Turtle Creek, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012. She was the beloved wife of 55 years to the late William C. Marusko; loving mother of William "Big Rocco" (Maggie) Marusko, Robert "Little Rocco" (Dianna) Marusko and Melanie (Paul) McFetridge; proud grandmother of Briana, Joey, Deanna, Erika and Owen; special grandma to the light of her life, Megan; sister of Janet (Richard) Blend; and predeceased by her dog, Tyler. Marlyn was a Turtle Creek Borough Crossing Guard for more than 20 years. She and her husband, Bill, enjoyed their summers at Slippery Rock Campground, where they made many wonderful friends and where she spent many Saturday nights country line dancing with "The Gang". A private family viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC. corner of Shaw and Triboro avenues, Turtle Creek, 412-823-1950, where a public service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday. Interment will follow at Churchill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 810 River Ave., Suite 140, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
