MUSIC POWER - 14 KQV . . . On December 31, 1967 at the end of the day's last regular ABC Radio Newscast, ABC News split into 4 new networks.  KQV became part of the new American Contemporary Network. With this change, it also ushered in the era of Music Power on KQV.  KQV's News Scope from 6:30 until 7:15 pm was gone. Also gone was Don McNeill's Breakfast Club. In it's place was a new lineup featuring more hours of Music Power.
