Susie finds herself a long way from her native Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she was born and raised along with one sister and a brother.

She entered Michigan State University on scholarship as a pre-law major, but soon discovered radio was much more to her liking. Susie switched majors and graduated with a B.A. in Communication Arts.

After working in college radio, her first commerical position was the all-night shift at WNAM in Neenah, Wisconsin. In January, Susie was "discovered" and joined WXKX as part of its original staff. After six months on the 2:00am to 6:00am shift, she moved to WTAE in her current capacity, handling 10:00 pm to 2:00 am.

Since leaving Michigan State, Susie has managed to collect one husband and three cats. Susie enjoys sports, reading, chess and Pittsburgh. She is also an amateur photographer and drummer. She and her "family" recently purchased a home in Blackridge.

Susie brings a special, effervescent style to her evening show and she keeps late night Pittsburghers cheered with her genuine, friendly approach.
