WTAE News is designed with an accent on Pittsburghers and how the ever-changing world affects them. WTAE News is delivered in a warm, conversational manner compatible with the delivery of the on-air personalities.

WTAE News is broadcast regularly on-the-hour (and half-hour in drive time) but WTAE News will break-in anytime with late breaking news events and bulletins.

WTAE utilizes a fulltime staff of 8 news people and a network of stringers atatewide. National and world news is provided by the excellent resources of the ABC Radio Network.

WTAE's "Man On The Move", Ron Jaye, is on-the-go all day long, broadcasting live from Mobil Unit 7.

Neal Spence can be airborne in minutes in the WTAE Pathfinder to cover major events from above the scene.

WTAE NEWS SCHEDULE:

10-Minute News On-The-Hour: Daily Monday Thru Friday at 6:00, 7:00 and 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

News On The Half Hour: Daily Monday Thru Friday at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 am, 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 pm.

Other WTAE News: All other WTAE News reports are five minutes in length and are heard on the hour.
