Mark Roberts started his radio career in his hometown of Johnstown, Pa.at WCRO in 1967.  By 1971 Mark found himself in Cleveland at WIXY 1260. Later that year he came to the Pittsburgh market segueing to co-owned WIXZ 1360 in McKeesport where he was an air personality as well as program director. Among those on his staff was a young Jeff Christie (Rush Limbaugh) In 1972, Mark came to the Big 1250. In the Fall of 1973 when Ted Atkins had everyone in place for the new Solid Gold TAE, Mark Roberts was holding down the noon - 3 pm shift. When Johnny Williams arrived on March 31, 1975, Mark was promoted to WTAE AM-FM program administrator. Mark Roberts remained at WTAE until 1985. When he left he was acting general manager of the station. 

Mark's voice was heard on many of WTAE's many promos and commercials leading into a career as a voice artist. Mark expanded his voice work and opened up Mark Roberts Associates in October 1985. Mark's clients have included both major Pittsburgh and International companies. Among his many clients ... Lockheed Martin, PNC Bank, Hoover, IBM, Quaker, SmithKline Beecham, Pitsburgh Pirates, Thrift Drug, Carnegie Science Center, 84 Lumber, UPMC Health System and many, many more.

In 2007 and 2008, Mark was Creative Services Director at Renda Broadcasting in Pittsburgh, while continuing his role at Mark Roberts Associates.

Mark is also on the national Board of Directors of SAG-AFTRA, Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
