For 5 years Steve King ruled the late
night air waves of Chicago. Steve King was the King of Rock and Roll at
WLS. His broadcasting career began at WJOB in Hammond, Indiana. From WLTH
in Gary, Indiana it was Indianapolis to WIFE and WNAP-FM. Afternoons at
WBBM-FM led steve to WLS in 1973. After WLS and Steve went from Musicradio
to Talk Radio at WIND-AM. For more than 25 years Steve King worked
with his wife Johnnie Putnam at WGN-AM where the logged in more than 6,200
shows.
