Looking for free books? Welcome to the PDA Librarian!
When I decided to become a school librarian, it was because of my love for kids and books. But now instead of librarians, we're called school library media specialists. We not only catalog, circulate and administrate, but we devise ways to use online technologies that help kids become effective users of ideas and information. The demand for higher academic standards has caused many of us to delve into critical thinking strategies that teach our children research skills and information literacy. Fine, but what about the books?! Sure, internet and computer technology has changed many things for the better, but for school librarians like me, the endless search for good reading will always come first.
The PDA Librarian offers you the best of both worlds..... the accessibility of books through the portability of personal digital assistant. Happy Reading!
