Dick Drury - Idea and Policy Man at KQV
     The credit for KQV's dominant position in the Pittsburgh market belongs in no small part to Dick Drury. Dick came to KQV from the Pacific Northwest where he was Regional Program and Production Director for a group of independent stations. his radio TV career includes personality shows with top-rated stations in Cleveland, Detroit and Portland, as well as announcing and producing U.S. Cost Guard radio programs.

     At Kent State University, he majored in Speech and English, and did radio-TV work at one of the local commercial outlets. Dick creates many of the ideas that make KQV exciting listening throughout the tri-state area. Other duties include supervision of 11 disc jockeys and newsmen and control of music policy.

     There's happy listening at the 1410 spot on with Dick Drury as Program Director.
