In high school and college, Dave developed interest in speaking, dramatics, teaching and sports. Although Dave was well known in the Pittsburgh area for his gridiron exploits (he was a quarterback) his roles with the Catholic Theater Guild and the Pittsburgh Playhouse launched him as an entertainer. His musical tastes run through classics, jazz, folk and western and current popular favorites. In his varied radio and TV career, Dave has done quiz shows, news and special events reporting, play-by-play sports and DJ show. Dave's a happy family man with his wife, Jane, and his tow boys. His hobbies include sports, generally, especially gold and tennis plus breeding and raising German shepherds.
