Staff
Over the years, most of our
full-time djs started out as Part-time weekend people. They will not be
listed here However, over the years we've had a fine crew of people Who
work on the weekends and fill-in during the week When someone was ill or
on vacation. Here is a list, Not complete by any means, of some of our
part-timers over the years. This list begins in the early days and moves

Heartbeat:
| Heartbeat was a Sunday Morning
tradition on WIKZ for 20 years. Begun in 1982 by Dave Baker and taken over
by Scott Douglas in 1984, Heartbeat started
as a one hour show , beginning at 8 AM and later Expanded into the 7 O'clock
hour. |
Director of Sparkle:
| Artie
Shultz is MIX 95.1's Imaging Director and Assistant Program Director.
He helps make the imagination become real through the speakers as he helps
the promos and sweepers come alive. |

 In
Memoriam
Al Potena worked at WIKZ from
1982-1987. He was sales manager from 1984-87. He also was the sports guy
on the Alexander in the Morning Show and the Alexander & Harding show
from 1985-1987. Al loved life, love sports, sounded great on the air, and
was a big supporter of the morning show. Al's life ended suddenly in a
car accident in June, 1994. |

In
Memoriam
Larry "Chip" Boose (Travis Tory)
worked at WIKZ from 1994-1998. He worked the late shift as well as hosted
MIX 95.1's Night Mix. After leaving WIKZ, Chip worked at Bob 94.9 in Harrisburg.
Chip passed away in November, 2004 after fighting a long battle with cancer. |
